Agree.
For some reason, if I need to buy cheap beer I default to Coors. I can’t defend the decision. But, you know - the picnic friends that never ‘hopped’ on the craft beer wagon...they still drink yuck stuff....but ya don’t want to bring something they won’t drink.
If you put bud, Miller and Coors next to each other I can’t tell you I’d be able to tell the difference.
It’s like the flu...I’m beginning to think mental illness is contagious.
say what? I only speak ‘Merican. (and maybe a little Deutch)
Thank you for keeping me employed.
Currently working at Coors here in Golden, Colorado.
Been making the malt for 23 years now.
Miller is under Coors? Didnt know that. Yikes. What a mess.
Guess I just continue on with carefully selected micros. Or keep my fermenter going.
yes— all good to best choices. Yeungling US pldest and their lager or black & tan lager is go to here. Icehouse 5.5% lager priced better than Pabst which is bulk OK. Wonder what happened to Stroh’s and Sterlings Big Mouth (while ago).
Brewing one’s own 12-14% by volume for single bottle with a great meal- bbq slaw beans. Nothing compares to the home brew (hops blend, and recipe fermentation yeast custom made).
You mean Yanqui? It’s the arrows/bow the Yaqui carry with the 24 pack in their other hand one used to have to worry about... heh, heh. Have a good one!
Do you KNOW who owns mondelo? Almost everyone here has been had! $ went from Left pocket to Left pocket!
This has to be some incorrect information. No way. It may now the AB’s #1 in America, but not THE #1 in America.
Keep at it! And thanks for the beerz.
I came across an old HS video from Golden. Did you grow up there?

Isn’t Modelo an Anheuser-Busch beer?
I have some Dos Equis in the fridge.
Good to know. So the AB wokies aren’t making any money off of Modelo?
I have a good friend who will be very happy to hear that it it’s true, because he really likes Modelo and has been boycotting it.
The whole progressive “we know what’s best” crap.
Modelo Negra is one very fine beer.
Don’t be a tourist, refuse the lime. Don’t even let them leave it in your vicinity.
It’s a shame because Bud Light had some great commercials in the 90s like the “Wingman” ad. They could never do that one today.
I grew up between Lakewood and West Denver. I would’ve graduated in 87, but I dropped out. Too busy working to concentrate on school.
Not to mention all the lovely mid-eighties, ummmm, female distractions.
Modelo and Bud are both owned by AB Inbev.
LOL!
We had a Johnny Bud-light poster up in the hunting shack. It had Johnny all hour glassed twisted up. Really freaked out my girls when I took them up to the shack. LOL. Wish I could find one now. Or at least the picture online.
Modelo is Bud Light Light — lighter and gayer. Yuengling can’t be #1 if stores keep running out. My Walmart down the street has it for a day at a time, then out for three or four days!
