time travel
That’s something I can’t believe in. You would have to calculate the exact position of the Earth on a specific day and time, as well as match the rotation speed of the planet. There’s just too many variables to be able to go backward, and significantly forward, in time.
Now, we are all time travelers, moving forward 1 microsecond at a time.
Time travel is a very weird subject—and I admit I have a lot of trouble wrapping my brain around it.
However my approach is to say that is a limitation of mine—and not a limitation of the universe.
We do not know enough to know what we do not know.
Claims that we have discovered all relevant laws of physics are absurd on their face.
I seem to recall reading a sci-fi story about the discovery of the true origins of meteorites: time travelers who had gone into the future, only to learn that the Earth hadn’t arrived there yet...
