From today's New Blast, there is an item about the death of former FBI agent, Robert Hanseen - arrested for selling secrets to the Soviet Union.

The movie entitled, "Breech" tells the story of his arrest and stars actor Chris Cooper who plays Hanseen.

The movie never delves into this and I have never seen a mainstream news source discuss it, but the claim is that the "secrets" Hanseen was selling was modified versions of the ProMIS software. PorMIS stood for Prosecutor's Management Information System and was central to the Vince Foster murder.

Follow up - I found this on Wikipedia's page on the company named, "INSLAW." INSLAW was the contractor hired by Reagan's DOJ to write ProMIS ...

In 2001, the Washington Times and Fox News each quoted federal law enforcement officials familiar with debriefing former FBI Agent Robert Hanssen as claiming that the convicted spy had stolen copies of a PROMIS-derivative for his Soviet KGB handlers.[citation needed]

Later reports and studies of Hanssen's activities have not repeated these claims.

I had posted about “Breach” a couple days ago. Another FReeper who seems to be well versed in Hanssen replied that what the movie covered was only a small bit of the horrible things that Hanssen did.
