Link to rumble above, Newsmax interviews Nunes. Hope link is direct.🤞
Nunes clarifies the DOJ is charging nothing of wrongly Classified documents in POTUS’ possession, although they converse about Classified docs throughout the indictment.
The charge is Espionage, over that Milley convo.
I assume most of us understand that Milley’s puffed up claim was one wherein it was he alone who saved the world from POTUS’ mad war threat to Iran, when it was President Trump stopping Milley from war hawking Iran!
The charge is of holding Defense operational docs, in Trump’s possession. One report says the Trump team does not find them among his cache.
Were they never there?
Are these documents being illegally inserted into, and portrayed as among, the documents the rogue DOJ illegally took from Mar-a-Lago?
Reports flying fast leave some confusion as constitutional law is parsed and reshaped to mean what ever Totalitarians want it to mean.
milley - gone now
The distinction is important; while the prosecution talks openly (and leaks) constantly about 'classified docs', Trump is not charged with possessing classified documents, he is charged with possessing material that endangers national security. That could include a news article from the New York Times if the Smith team so specifies.
In other words, the prosecution team is hoping to taint the jury pool by constantly misleading them with easy to remember phrases - like possessing classified documents. It seems to be working.
Kash Patel has identified the documents at issue as evidential material outlining criminality in pursuit of Crossfire Hurricane. That could include, for example (I suppose), documented FISA violations.
Naturally the coup miscreants would like sole possession of such documents that might eventually be used to indict them for sedition or treason. 'National security' translates to 'their security.' Perhaps that is why the prosecution team members (a classified secret) will try anything to regain possession of the material.
