Aqua just called to tell me about the loss of Baggie. I’m still processing it. I talked to him not that long ago and knew he was ill but it never entered my head that he was really in imminent danger. Baggie couldn’t be. Baggie was always going to be there arguing over the slightest thing. The sun is going to be dimmer tomorrow when I wake up. Someone especially wonderful will now live only in our memories. It’s going to take a while to come to grips with this new reality. My sympathies to his family, whom he adored, and to all of us who loved him and are going to be the poorer for this massive loss.

The news of Bagster’s passing hit me hard. I was praying, hoping against hope that he would pull through, and a week/10 days ago, it seemed like he had turned the corner.
I pray, Randsomnote, that between you and Rev. Peterson sharing the gospel with Baggie, that he made the wise choice.
