“I beg to differ - that word doesn’t come out unless there’s a daily habit of using it.”
Wow, if you think you are going to be the collected and perfect person at all times, and are never capable of behaving beyond your perfection when put in an unbelievably stressful situation, then really you shouldn’t be walking on this earth and should be among the choirs of the angels.
Apparently, you and you alone, somehow avoided the fall from grace when Adam and Eve were expelled from the garden.
Humans are flawed and failed creatures, all of us. I have witnessed enough to know that your presumption is absolutely wrong. I have seen how grief, anger, and passion have overtaken mans better angels in moments, and if you believe that folks only curse because its a daily part of their lives and otherwise they would never ever do so, well, you just enjoy that judgemental bubble.
“”you just enjoy that judgemental bubble.””
It’s gotten me well into my late 80’s and I don’t intend to change.. I know what is right and I know what is wrong - sad that you string words together beautifully but lack the talent to know the difference. Guess it depends on how one was raised.
I lost my husband two years ago after nursing him through several years of bad health and never felt the need to resort to gutter language in spite of differences of opinion about his care and his final days with hospice and misinformation from volunteers at the National Cemetery where he was to be buried.
If you haven’t known anyone who can control the words they speak when under pressure, then you’re associating with the wrong kind of people.
or perhaps they have been lucky enough not to have an extreme event happen to them so they cannot relate. or they are lying to themselves and everyone else
