That is an outrageous position by SCOTUS.

It is the duty of the executive branch to carry out the laws on the books.
The president does not have the authority, legal or constitutional, to ignore the laws passed by congress and make up his own policies.

I think Kav got really quite rattled between his brutal hearings and the terrorists around his home with the Dobbs ruling. Pretty hard to withstand threats to family like that.
