You mentioned safe cars and I thought I'd tell you about our experience yesterday. When leaving a restaurant and we were walking to my new Hyundai truck with keys in my purse and keys in my husbands hand. I believe Hyundai was one mentioned about not secure. My husband hit the key to unlock the truck and as we walked I GOT TO THE TRUCK FIRST.
When I tried to open my door the truck made clicking sounds and lights on the truck all lite up red. Husband hit the key button again and I tried the door again. I wasn't aware that the driver has to open his door first apparently. I also know you can't open the gas cap unless you have your drivers door unlocked.
My sister-in-law had her Kei in the garage having something done on her security. I wasn't told to bring mine in. I have a Hyundai Santa Cruz truck only because I convinced my husband we needed to use some money in case the stock market falls.
