I do understand and am glad Lauren is understanding now too. I had to work when my children were young and had to miss out on things. They didn’t like it, but when they got older and had to pay bills they understood.
Don’t ever feel bad about doing what you have to do. And don’t feel bad when you do something you WANT to do either.
