Good morning, CB!

We had the warmest day yet here in my beautiful mountains yesterday.

It got up to 88°, which to all of you in the 100’s isn’t that bad.

No humidity here and it’s been very windy.

It didn’t cool off last night like it usually does so we are starting out in the house a lot warmer than what we have been experiencing.

I’m not complaining as the weather for June has been quite lovely.

Need to get hubby to put in the window AC unit before he has his surgery and isn’t allowed to lift anything.

So that will be on the agenda before we leave on Thursday.

EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM CDT TUESDAY...

WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with temperatures from 105 to 111 degrees, and heat index values as high as 118 degrees.

WHERE...All of west central Texas.

WHEN...Until 9 PM CDT Tuesday.

IMPACTS...Extreme heat and humidity will significantly increase the potential for heat related illnesses, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.
