Steve Scalise is the Majority Whip, and 10% of his caucus didn’t vote for the measure.

Scalise told Anna Paulina Luna, the author of the measure, he would support her.

But then, she being a freshman Congresswoman, the GOP had to teach her a lesson and embarrass her.
