I'll repeat this here: I have proof. I was in MCRD -San Diego - Boot Camp rifle range when we landed on the moon. Proof? The drill instructor got us out of the rack at zero dark thirty. We are on the make-shift grinder in our skivvies and flip-flops. The drill instructor ordered us to wave at the officers on the moon, then render a hand salute. I ain’t about to, even at this late date, call my drill instructor a liar.
