I grew close to Pat during a flight back from Israel in 2003. We found we had a great deal in common and became friends.
In fact, he endorsed me for President in 2007 in what was considered quite a shock considering our diverging views on areas of policy.
But that’s what made Pat such a good leader and better friend—our connection was deeper than our public political, “brands.”
He and I held a mutual love for people and God, and a shared respect for America and what makes her great. (1/2)
Pat Robertson truly embodied the values that built this country and he dedicated his life to serving God and helping people. He is on the Mt. Rushmore of Conservatism.
May God rest his soul and bring comfort to his family. May we all profit from him being among us. (2/2)
