I was 12 years old and remember the Bicentennial celebration across America and the world for that matter. It lasted for a year at least. I remember a lot of thing done to commemorate it, bike centennial route across America, Bicentennial quarters, parades everywhere, etc. It really was a great time to be an American.

1976 was also the year Rick Monday saved the American flag from being burned by two democrats.

I do remember. It really was an incredible moment when you
look back. Nation wide too.

Also knew a guy that customized his (new) '76 Van, Bicentennial.

I didn’t realize in 1976 as I celebrated with others many had already sold out the country and were robbing us blind. I truly pray God helps us and our country.
