You are supposed to have two anchors: A gold plated one to keep as a showpiece, a galvanized one to use to hold your boat in place! Or you could have another to throw a liberal overboard!! 🤓

Of course, that is a waste of a good anchor...🤓

Just be careful where you anchor it. Above is an old article from when Paul Allen’s (Microsoft/Seahawks) ship’s anchor tore through a reef.

I was trying to find another article where the guy was supposed to leave someone on board the ship but instead relied on an anchor warning system. The anchor failed, as did the warning system and the millions dollar ship ended up on the rocks, damaging the reef and after spending $500k trying to recover it, the ship sank anyways!
