I would have to ask my wife the ages, but my son and his friend's younger brother were in the van. Say my son was 1st grade and the younger kid was kindergarten.

Friend: “When I grow up I'm going to be a triceratops!”

Son: “You can't be a triceratops - you are a boy, and you'll always be a boy!”

It was amazing to my wife how much difference just a year or two makes in the brain of a kid.

Of course now we both are amazed at some of these parents and doctors that push the trans-cult.

I liken it to “The Emperor Has no Clothes” story. And I have no idea, but it wouldn't surprise me if that story isn't based on the real-life situation of some French King (and many others in the 15th Century) that believed themselves to be made of glass and would break if not careful.

The King's servants would pack him in a crate filled with straw even to transport him to the chamber pot!
