Many shows have many writers who cannot come up with anything entertaining yet they want more money to continue to do so.

The minimum salary for a TV writer-producer is between $206,480 and $259,420 on a 35-40 week contract. Streaming writers typically have 20-24 week contracts and make a minimum between $148,240 and $177,888.
For a network show, the median writer works 29 weeks and takes home a $131,834 salary.
