I care! Sure and you're right about your investigation- yet hasn't the author given noted one reference to I. J. Gelb (1952,1963) somewhere?

Prof. Goldwasser likely consumed Gelb during basics and refashioned/repackaged the material across her work, as so many scholars do. An accomplished presenter teaching the next generation, Goldwasser engages her audience very well.

LIke all FReeQs, Ms. Goldwasser challenges are decades long- and she has met them; witness this from 2010, in defense of "The invention of the Alphabet" :

Better still, as we are all standing on the shoulders of someone else during 'the pursuit'; why not praise her for the body of work she has done in mulitiple areas? Then delve into a couple of worthy non-threatening questions to elicit a response?

Perhaps a cappacino at a local cafe?

I don't suppose much else needs to be said; in her first rebuttal she writes: My thesis differs sharply from those of former scholars . I did not originally accuse Ms Goldwasser of stealing from Gelb; I conceded that there was some possible coincidence; Gelb's presentation (properly) included references to earlier works, including some of the graphics.

Obviously Ms Goldwasser's claim of 'differing from all other scholars' is a lie in light of my detailed rebuttal.

I could produce earlier copies of your graphic from 'Conferencia' except I would have to initiate a graphics account; I am often tempted to do so. I could email a copy of my original rebuttal letter.

I am dismayed that Ms Goldwasser has proven my original charge as valid... also that BAR has corrupted itself. Why?

A cafe in Jerusalem? 😃 Maybe Ms Goldwasser would come to Orlando... Well, I am not praising her but I have been washing my hands of the whole conflict. If academia does not care that is not my problem. I brought it up, hesitantly here, because I think of this thread as a search for truth. sigh
