C-F-A still tends to be - at least regionally - a notch above the other fast food chains in most respects, but like the proverbial fish, this particular chicken is now rotting from the head first. Back when Dan T. went lukewarm, our house decided that about the only way to go was with locally-owned businesses whenever it was possible.
People like S. Truett Cathy, Dave Thomas, etc can do their utmost, but once they are gone and their concern is in the hands of the moneychangers and/or the next generation(s) of the family, all bets are off.
