I don’t think I ever mentioned I’m in a band again. Playing that heavy metal that Bagster hates so much. :) We’re a bunch of guys in our 50’s just slaying it. I’m in rare form right now, probably the best I’ve ever played (drums, LOTS of drums) in 35+ years. Aging like a fine wine I guess.

Very happy about this. No, we don’t have a name yet.

That sounds fun. My son is a drummer. Funny story... so our oldest plays guitar, electric (rock), youngest drums (jazz) and husband trumpet (jazz and classical)

When they would all practice, separately, I would walk down the hallway and hear a cacophony of music 😂😂, since each would be practicing different stuff in different rooms.

My nephews have an incredible band and honestly, I’m impressed with anyone that can play in public, so best of luck to you and have fun!!

I was compelled to go to ChatGPT and ask for band names for you. This is what it spit out:

AI:Sure, here are some potential band names for a group of 50+ year old men playing heavy metal:

1. Grey Metal
2. Midlife Crisis
3. Old School Metalheads
4. Silver Shredders
5. Aged to Perfection
6. Senior Shred Society
7. Vintage Vengeance
8. Elder Metal Militia
9. The Geriatric Headbangers

I hope this helps! Let me know if you need any further assistance.

A friend of mine was in a band that played in Brevard county Florida that was called the Dinosaur Brotherhood.  I immediately understood why they called themselves that after seeing a picture of the band members.
