Every criminal and civil charge against Epstein took place before 2000, except one.
Only one lawsuit alleges that under age sex took place on one of the islands.
The woman who sued Prince Andrew, who turned 18 in 2001, claimed she had sex with Andrew, one time, on one of the islands.
The only crime Epstein was ever charged with before 2019 was paying a 17 year old to have sex in the late 1990s.
She told Epstein she was 18, which was not a defense for Epstein under Florida law.
Also, Epstein, who admitted no guilt, paid cash settlements to multiple women for underage sex, which took place before 2000.
Epstein was a bad person.
However, almost everything journalists claim he did is NOT reflected in the legal record.
Also important, the investigations into Epstein in the early 2000s were conducted by two female Republicans. Pam Bondi, the Attorney General of Florida, and the GW Bush appointed US Attorney in Miami.
