Do (naturally) brown chicken eggs have thinner shells than white?
They certainly seem to.
If so, then WHY? Is this natural? Is it normal?
Are white chickens diets supplemented with calcium? Or something?
I mean - what's the real deal here, anyway? Eh?
Just asking.

I currently have about one thousand laying hens. I get white, brown, green, and blue eggs from them.
If the hens don’t get enough calcium the egg shells will be thin regardless of the color. The solution is to make oyster shell available to them and then you get good eggshells.
all i know about the color of chicken eggs is that brown chickens lay brown eggs and white chickens lay white eggs ...
