At least at my local Walmart, the store employees on mask guard duty seemed to be kinda embarrassed to be put in that position.

Then our Governoress got really strict about it and commanded Local Law Enforcement to stand guard there... they did it a few days, embarrassed to be doing it and then refused... The Governoress then sent the State Police. THEY relished it, like Cartman “Respect my Authoritay!”, but even that only lasted a couple weeks, and the task then fell back to embarrassed Walmart employees

Dang! That’s heavy-handed and sick. State Police at store entrances enforcing masks? Is your governoress named Gretchen?

I can’t imagine that happening here. There were a lot of us scofflaws during the brief and very unpopular mask mandate here. We just quickly identified and went to the places that didn’t push the mask crap and didn’t shop at any places that had mask Nazis stationed at the entrances.
