For Obama, the Cover-Up Was Worse than the Crime
American Thinker ^ | 23 May, 2023 | Jack Cashill

By the time he left office, Obama had all his cucks in a row -- prominent sycophants in every branch of the government and in every major newsroom prepared to ruin Donald Trump’s presidency in service to a lie.

Two enduring aphorisms emerged from the Watergate affair, both directed at then-president Richard Nixon. The one at the outset of the investigation was delivered in the form of a question: “What did he know and when did he know it?” The second came at the end in the form of a warning to future presidents: “The cover-up is worse than the crime.”

Thanks to the Durham report, we know the date that then-president Barack Obama learned about what John Durham calls the “Clinton Intelligence plan.” If CIA Director John Brennan’s notes are to be believed, that date was August 3, 2016.

This was the day Brennan briefed Obama and other key players about the “alleged approval by Hillary Clinton on 26 July of a proposal from one of her [campaign] advisors to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by the Russian security services."

To be fair, Barack Obama likely had no more role in the orchestration of the Clinton Intelligence plan than Richard Nixon did in the 1972 bugging of the DNC headquarters at the Watergate. Obama did, however, play the critical role in the cover-up of the Clinton Intelligence plan. It could not have happened without him.

This past Sunday, former congressman Devin Nunes raised the cover-up issue on Maria Bartiromo’s show. Said Nunes, “We now know from Durham that Obama knew and his team knew that in August 2016 this was a dirty trick from the Clinton campaign.”

Very clear and crisp presentation. It is truly amazing to watch Deep State Media’s ability to neutralize the logical conclusion from this publicly available information. Thank you, my FRiend, I think we are in for “interesting times” indeed.

I unfortunately think part of it is perception, and back then I perceived that the election process still worked. I didn’t have a feeling it was being subverted.\

And I didn’t have the overwhelming perception that there were different levels of law, rules, and punishments for elected officials.

However, after the Clinton years, and when I first read up on WhiteWater to understand it...it is pretty clear it was only a perception to me that they were still subject to law.

Not any more, and double that for elections.

92.1 % of D.C. are democrats it’s why things are like they are low voter turn out and gullibility keeps it that way.

Bonus round: Rigging is never shut down

Thanks for saying so. Dan Bongino brought it up the other day (I listen driving home from work) and as soon as he did, I remembered it.

Totally forgot, probably due to the firehose of information we have being sprayed at us each day.

But when I looked to refresh myself, it is all there for everyone to see.

Everyone. They aren't even hiding it, as if just leaving out in the sun to rot like a carcass is going to totally decompose it into unrecognizable remains. But nobody brings it up.

Sigh. I used to laugh at those "Chinese Curses) which are:

I admit, the first two, I understand fully and don't want any part of that. However, the third one makes me nervous. Because in my uncharitable mind, I do think things should happen to these people which I hope would make them miserable in a variety of ways.

But I always wonder, as Thomas Sowell is wont to say..."What happens next?"

Because if those things I wish on them come true, it will probably mean "interesting times"...:(

It sure did wake a lot of people up. I couldn’t believe what the Left was pulling, and I already held them in the lowest esteem at that point.

I knew the long term effects of that were going to be bad, and that we hadn’t seen the last of it.

I was one of those people who was inclined to believe Oswald did it alone, a Leftist nutbag. I read a lot on the subject over the years, even perusing a copy of the Warren Commission Report in a library one time. It didn’t seem likely, and I didn’t want to believe it.

Then, when Vince Foster died, I had to look at it.

Seth Rich made me do a triple take.

Then Ron Brown.

And then Jeffrey Epstein. Only a total moron could look at that chain and fail to have it cynically yanked by a criminal government.

The end result is, at one point in my life, I didn’t believe our government would do these things to its own citizens.

If people want to ridicule me for that, I can accept that, but I don’t think I would have been able to have a happy life to my current senior citizen stage if I had carried it along with me like a caravan of poisonous luggage.

Now?

After seeing what the FBI has done since the early Nineties, and what the Left has done, I no longer believe our country, the United States of America, would not do things to its own citizens, up to and including murder.

And that deeply saddens me more than I can say.

I was already long awake at that point.

Nellie Ohr? Gee. Nothing to see there. Move along.

I hope you found it informative. If anyone is interested, I put together a document with a timeline and links on the Persecution of General Michael Flynn because he was a smart guy, and he knew where the bodies were buried. They had to shut him up. Here is a link to the document I created (I did it to have an easy reference to events, because it just gets complicated with names and dates):

TIMELINE: The Persecution of General Michael Flynn

I put this together primarily as a personal reference of events to keep track of them, but also because I found I was still unwilling to fully accept what had been done to him, and I am one of those people who can visualize things when they appear in a chronological timeline. The PDF contains links and quotes, though I suspect a number of the links no longer work.

But the bottom line was, in looking at the timeline, actions, and data, I fully and wholly realized and accepted what my own government had done to an honorable man. And once I believed that, I fully understood what was going on in government, and how the Founders had tried to protect us from these kinds of men.

For rank power and money, they would be fully willing to exploit the power, money, and resources of government at all levels to squash any of us like bugs and we would be largely powerless to resist.

That was what they did to General Flynn, who had knowledge, power, and means, and they reduced that American man, a pugnacious man willing to fight his and our enemies, to a guilty plea to protect his family that they threatend. They bled him white, and left him without a home or savings, and all because they had bottomless pockets and an excess of malice untethered by morality or restraint. He couldn't resist them, and if he couldn't, what chance would any of us have?

General Flynn could be any one of us, and was, as we see from the persecution of the J6 Political Prisoners. It is what they have been trying to do to Trump since 2015.

It is a good reference, as there was a lot going on at that time. I hadn’t looked at it in a while, but surprisingly, a lot of the links still function, which is nice.

I included them as partial source documentation. Also, the columns help keep it organized, the date, who was involved, etc.

The AFL-CIO has endured a long-running civil and cultural war between Components of Organized Crime (COC) and communist-socialists (aka progressives), both of these sides fighting to gain and hold onto control of labor unions.

Soldiers on both sides, are capable of, and trained to, cause serious harm.

The [Joseph Sr. and Jr.] Kennedy family (smuggling) lineage (upstream), and then a mixed bag of residuals at Robert Kennedy’s level, participating on both sides, though originally with the COC (smuggling).

Jimmy Hoffa being in opposition to the communist-socialists.

Not only within the USA, but internationally, a determined power could control or manipulate directions for applying force to influence and “make a point.”

I think that Lee Oswald was a chess piece, and Lloyd Ruby (COC) removed Oswald from the board, after the play.

Castro supplying booze at significant discount to the COC that managed distribution.

I have to tell you-to fully accept that has been one of the saddest things in my life.

I am glad that I lived a long life without regarding my own goverment as an adversary (beyond the IRS) but...this goes against my grain.

Well. Hard to argue with the facts. Leftists and liberals just say the truth is a different thing so they don’t get filled with Cognitive Dissonance.

It is why they can say a man can be a woman or vice-versa, or...2+2=5.
