The brand damage is already enormous. Its going to take a long time for Bud’s formerly loyal beer drinkers to forgive this kind of insult. Once damaged, image and reputation are very hard to repair.
A friend of mine who used to drink Bud Light said he saw a Bud Light commercial a few days ago with a country song playing and depicting real, red-blooded, straight Americans. I haven’t seen it, but my friend said “Too little, too late.” He’s enjoying his Yuengling these days.
