Midland County Sheriff David Criner told the Reporter-Telegram on Sunday that the bond for the man arrested for the murder of 20-year-old Madeline Molina Pantoja is $3 million, not $300 million as the Sheriff's Office reported earlier.
Criner said there was an error on the Midland County Sheriff’s Office website.
Mario Juan Chacon Jr. was arrested Saturday and is being charged with murder, a first-degree felony, Midland County records show. The Midland County Sheriff’s Office current detainee list first showed that a bond has been set for “300,000,000.00.” Criner later confirmed that number is $3 million and the website would be fixed.
The MCSO website also shows no lawyer is listed for Chacon.

If by “troubled individual”, you mean “shit bag”.
Yes. Trying to stay inside FR’s guidelines in difficult for me at times such as this.
Don’t waste our money on this POS. Take him out over the Ocean and
show him the exit from 10,000 ft. That is a good solution.
Isn’t the bond something like 10% - so that is $300k. Hope he isn’t connected with the cartels or he’ll be out tomorrow and never be seen again.
Although I imagine if he is with a cartel they would kill him for being stupid and risking their “business” ventures.
I got it for you.
The neck tat means “I have climbed the social ladder as high as I feel comfortable.”
So many people are mathematically illiterate nowadays.
Yeah, and they’ve loosed the ability to speel correct.
