Two cops heard the desperate screams of the Chinatown woman who was stalked by a homeless stranger and murdered in her apartment — and even spoke to her killer through the door — but failed to help, the victim’s family claims in a lawsuit.
Christina Yuna Lee, 35, was attacked by an assailant who snuck in behind her as she entered her Chrystie Street building around 4:20 a.m. on Feb. 13, 2022.
Neighbors heard her cries for help “for at least five minutes” as she was being viciously butchered, and dialed 911.

Police are the largest criminal gang in this country. Perhaps the world.
Separate.move.relocate… Live amongst people you trust. It’s a big country.
Speaking to the killer is ok. Try to calm him down, get him to open the door.
Two patrolling cops not being able to open the door, might be understandable, reinforced frame , high security bolt, etc.
A hour to get a unit there that could force the door is not acceptable.
It’s tempting to say that this is a NYC thing, or a big city thing.
But a Parkland deputy sheriff just stood around as kids were massacred.
And the Uvalde cops stood around as kids were massacred.
So maybe it’s a cop thing.
Bad cops, bad training, bad leadership. Take yer pick.
Forget it Jake, it’s Chinatown.
Aren’t police supposed to do nothing until a social justice warrior specialized in talking down white supremacists arrive? /s
