Broken on the wheel. The convict is lashed to a horizontal wagon wheel, and all her bones broken by the executioner dropping large rocks on them. The very first drop will leave the convict a cripple for life, which is only a short time. After a period of an few hours the convict is hanged. The families of convicts would sometimes bribe the executioner to straggle the convict or drop stones on their heads to make short work of them, and after an hour of so of mutilating their corpse, hand them.
