We took in two stray feral cats, even though we hate cats. In six months they have coordinated highly advanced psychological techniques to make us do things we would never do without some sort of Mezmerizing psy-ops games on the part of the cats. They now run every detail of home life. We are helpless in stopping it.

Ferals are the worst. They have street smarts. The plotting goes on in dark back alleys in the dead of night. You were probably spied on over an extended period of time. They knew when to catch you at a weak moment and made their move. Sorry to say it, but you're the victim of cat scratch fever, and there's no vaccine. ^..^
