No where in it does it describe the race of anyone on that subway car. That’s because what happened on that subway car had nothing to do with race

That's because it's forbidden to say the truth about race. The author did say this:

There is a reality here that dare not speak its name. The New York subway, including many dark, deserted passageways, abound with people whose inescapable presence justifiably causes unease.
Your outrage about race also ignores the reference and link the author made to the race-based riots that happened because of the races of the two men:
Yes, the municipal government may struggle with picking up the garbage, but it does have the recipe for terrifying you: put you in an escape-proof metal box, release thousands of criminals and nutcases back into the subway, and then ensure that you have no recourse if assaulted... and don ‘t even think of fighting back.... Imagine if Sargent Penny had an AR-15, even if he didn’t use it? And, if by chance, you do resist and win, hundreds of protestors will riot and then demand that you be punished.
See how cleverly the writer avoided saying the uncomfortable truth about race out loud? Yet it's right there, between the lines.

Well, while Penny didn’t know Neely punched and broke a 67 year old woman’s eye socket on the subway, in 2021. But the SOBs that let him out jail sure as hell did. They should be lined up on the tracks and run over for what they have done to the peace and dignity of the people of NYC, no matter what race they are.

You are now the 2nd or 3rd person to flame me today. and I DONT EVEN KNOW WHY.

Go to Twitter !!! People are saying it here is an example. I’m not lying nor am I endorsing racism. Quick to label me as both aren’t you?

Greg Abbott wants to pardon Daniel Perry, who murdered a Black Lives Matter protester.

Ron DeSantis is fundraising for Daniel Penny, who killed a Black man on a subway.

I’m saying leftists are hypocrites because when the races are reversed they don’t act with the same outrage. That’s my observed reality.

I know that people in NYC can manage a situation on a subway car as in this situation, without considering race

I've ridden the subways for a long time too, and race is central to the situation.

Do you honestly think a white man could have behaved like that in NYC and gotten away with it?

He was delivering his rant precisely BECAUSE he knew that, as a black man in NYC, he could behave as he pleased and nobody was going to impose any real consequences on him.

Didn't you say the following (as quoted by SauronOfMordor and conveniently denied by you):
I know that people in NYC can manage a situation on a subway car as in this situation, without considering race
See your post #39.

BTW, in case you didn't know, people on FR can disagree with what is written in an article. And when they do disagree with an article, it doesn't logically lead to the conclusion they didn't read the article (as you so desperately want to accuse).

Also in NYC this week, a nurse was put on leave for resisting having some black guys try to take a rental bike that she had paid for. The blacks posted a video painting her as a racist “Karen”.

There is a long term effort to paint whites as racists oppressing blacks, and the usual suspects will twist any incident they can towards that purpose.

Absolutely.

And virtue signaling Freepers so eager to declare their pureness by ignoring what you describe are nothing short of cowards.

It does not help the country or the black community to turn a blind eye to what racist, Marxists blacks like Alvin Bragg and BLM are doing.

The people in NYC who are afraid to use the subway are afraid because the police will not help them.

And you can't blame the police. They have learned their lessons well that helping can destroy your career and your life.

And brave citizens have learned that if someone, like Daniel Penny, does help, he will be victimized by the political establishment and very possibly go to jail.

Well, while Penny didn't know Neely punched and broke a 67 year old woman's eye socket on the subway, in 2021.

While he may not have known her exact age or the date it is more then likely that he would have know Neely's history of attacking people on that line if he was a regular traveler on that subway train.

Neely was notorious among the people who rode the subway.

It is a common misconception that people who are ride the subway are just a faceless mass. But when you ride any sort of public transportation on a regular basis you get to know the other people on the transport at least by sight.

You may even strike up conversations with some of them and even become friendly. And you get a group of people together they will talk about the news of what is going on in their little world.

BTW, I still have friends and family in NYC and the tri-state area and they are petrified of using the subway and even walking the streets.

And it isn't because of general lawlessness. It's because of the racism (toward white people) pouring out of the political establishment in NYC and Washington that encourages and enables criminals with a racial axe to grind.

"Write your own article about how it’s about race

This article is about something else."

"Being trapped means that you become a captive audience for grubby beggars, mariachi bands, aspiring rappers, “gymnasts” with boomboxes, candy sellers, and multiple other urban “entrepreneurs.” Yes, nobody fears a ten-year old boy hawking Kit-Kats, but it is uncomfortable to lack any escape route when he makes his pitch. And who knows what could happen if you accidentally make eye-contact with a disheveled panhandler strolling from car to car?

There is a reality here that dare not speak its name. The New York subway, including many dark, deserted passageways, abound with people whose inescapable presence justifiably causes unease. Their presence is excluded from official crime statistics, but their existence projects a reasonable sense of criminal threat. And thanks to liberal DAs like NYC’s Alvin Bragg, their numbers grow. Critically, this unease cannot be mitigated by upbeat reports about declining subway crime or endlessly preaching the joys of diversity. Jordan Neely’s subway “act” was innocently impersonating Michael Jackson, but among his 42 prior arrests was one for assaulting a 67-year old woman whose nose was broken and eye socket fractured (he walked in exchange for 15 months of treatment that he never completed). Paranoia about “the harmless” can sometimes be justified.

And if you are attacked, nobody will defend you, and don ‘t even think of fighting back, let alone brandishing a weapon. Imagine if Sargent Penny had an AR-15, even if he didn’t use it? And, if by chance, you do resist and win, hundreds of protestors will riot and then demand that you be punished."

You are full of it.

Weissberg writes extensively about race and racism, just as he was in this current article.

Obsessing over Racism

The Futile Quest to Protect Racial Diversity

Racial Preferences: An Engine of Resentment
