I told my doctor I would not take any medication for blood pressure or cholesterol. Won’t do it! My BP is usually a bit high when I go in. Now he checks it again before I leave and it’s normal.

I have a friend that is very nervous when she goes to the doctor. And her BP climbs very high as a result. Yet, she can test it at home and it’s relatively low. As it should be for a runner.
The fear does step things up a bit.

I won’t take the BP meds anymore either, never took the cholesterol.
Not taking it and saying I did gave me a brand new perspective on doctors…
