Please let Bagster know that there are kidney programs for family who are not a match to still get their loved one a kidney. The donor altruistically donates a healthy kidney to a stranger and then receives a voucher that can be used for a kidney for any member of their family, should they ever need it.
That’s how my husband got his new kidney. Our youngest had donated a kidney to a stranger a couple of years before and received a family voucher. Hubby used the voucher to receive a very compatible kidney from another stranger who donated to help HIS own relative. The whole process took about 9 month, once my husband’s kidney started to fail—mostly because they did a ton of tests and screening on him.. And because it was due to an altruistic donation, my husband went to the top of the list.

Know your Nautical Terminology
tacking
1. A sailing manoeuvre by which a sailing vessel whose desired course is into the wind (i.e. in the opposite direction from which the wind is blowing) turns its bow toward and through the wind, such that the direction from which the wind fills the sails changes from one side of the boat to the other, thereby allowing progress in the desired direction. A series of tacking moves, effectively "zig-zagging" back and forth across the wind, is called beating, and allows the vessel to sail directly upwind, which would otherwise be impossible.
2. Another name for going about.
wearing ship
Tacking away from the wind in a square-rigged vessel. This is more commonly reffered to as jibing (gybing).
