I would not be at all surprised. If congress cut their budget. that the FBI goes a “self funding” route.
Through confiscating assetts/ asset forfeiture.
And then selling off. through auctions.
And selling the drugs back to the cartels out the back door.
The only constitutional based functions of government is the 18 enumerated powers of congress. Anything else should be defunded and closed.
