Huge thunderstorm just as I sent the boys off to the laundromat.
“But it’s raining!” they said. “The clothes are already wet,” I pointed out. “Here’s a plastic bag to put them in after they’re dry.”
“My shoes are drying in the garage,” said James, who needs more shoes before his next camp staff. “Here are some gigantic hiking boots Tom left here. Waterproof and everything!”
The basket is in the front room, with the dry laundry in the plastic bag, so I deduce they were a success. The duct is supposed to be cleared this afternoon, and then we can use the dryer again.
