My personal choice, if I have one, is Hot Shot, but I usually put diatomaceous earth down in the apartment when I first move in and that takes care of any insect problems. I just didn’t lay down another dose of it the following year.

I think commercial insect sprayers mess with the stuff because when they spray, you always see critters. With the earth, they walk through it clean themselves and each other and die. My kind of pest control!

Bill the Son called from New York. He’s doing fine: working, playing volleyball, bicycling, and delivering meals for the Anarchist Food Bank. (This can be logically challenging because anarchists.)

Tom the other Son and his laundry have left for home. He said he has a job interview tomorrow for a similar job with a different company that would pay more and have better hours.

Yes, we have used those Hot Shot products in the past, and they usually worked well... Lately though, it seems that none of the available consumer insect sprays work all that well... it is like they have ‘watered’ them down, or changed the formula somehow...

As an example, not that long ago, if you sprayed an active wasp nest with one of the wasp sprays, they would get coated up with the foam and pretty much all fall to the ground dead (or very close to dead).... now, it seems that they get coated up, and fly away... not sure if they eventually die or not...
