No, it hasn’t passed completely. Depending on one’s immune system, brown recluse bites can be extremely toxic and if not watched carefully, they can cause necrotic skin which then has to be removed. Hence, the Polysporin.

I’ll have to keep an eye on it for at least the next week, because anything that can cause a fever in ME, can be a real problem. CFIDS causes the person to have an overactive immune system, so what would normally bother someone else doesn’t bother us. Like any strain of flu. I think I’ve had three colds in the last 30 years, and no flu.

So yes, I feel better, yes, it’s healing nicely, but no, I’m not out of the woods yet! ;o]

Ahh, yes, I have known a couple of folks that have had those bites. They are a very serious type of injury, hoping that your healing continues along...
