Well, even if the check engine light is off, it could mean something isn’t right, and that it needs a thorough checkup before you drive it again for any distance. It could be something as simple as needing fluids or something complex like needing a new set of head gaskets.
I’m glad you have reliable mechanics! They will know what to check for and how to fix it, and I’m pretty sure they’ll tell you if you need to just junk it and spring for a new one.
The laundry has been hung up to dry. I’d like to hang it outside but it would not dry as the humidity is way up, as usual, and mostly cloudy skies. The last time I hung up my clothes was in Vegas.
