Zowie! Why didn’t someone wake me up?? I woke up about 2330 last night, stayed up for an hour and then went back to bed, shutting my alarm off as I did. BAD ‘Face!
I can’t remember when I have slept so long at a stretch — almost nine hours! Dang! And that was with an additional four-and-a-half hours before 2330!
I sent a text to the manager and now I’m going to try and find the number for the owners. There is a thing called “reasonable accommodation” and it’s not being met, so it’s time for this one to bring out the big guns.
Y’know, I’ve got three letter copies here that I gave to the manager about the toilet seat being wonky and nothing has been done about it in the year and nine months I’ve been here. So I fell. The good thing is that I have “Before” pictures of my back. The bad thing is I don’t have “After” pictures.
For now, though, I need the A/C to work. My silly little rescue inhalers aren’t doing me much good when the air is so full of moisture.
I need to sort pills, but I’ll get to the Wordle as soon as my brain starts sparking!
OK. To the continuing saaa-ga of the A/C, I was told to turn it on and let it run. It ran and the temp dropped from 81 to 78 and then I had to sort pills. for that, I needed my portable fan, and I got the job done without too much pain.
The temp is 79 now. Going back up. I also just gave away my cookware, since I never use it any more. I mean, I used it when I bought it because I needed it then, but I don’t need it now, especially with the slow cookers. (6-quart and 2-quart)
So there is somewhat less to pack! Yippee!
I’ll make the bed in a bit and then my day’s work will be done. Golly. I wonder if I’ll be able to sleep tonight after all that sleep last night....
