In other news, the supplements came, so that's good. I'm still waiting on the vitamins. My diet is pretty unhealthy, here, so a multivitamin is a must.
Now, I think I'm going to get things ready for my last meal of the day. I started on "The Fellowship of the Ring" last night, so we'll see how long it takes me to finish the Trilogy. It's been a while since I read it!

Persistent 13-16mph breeze to remain through next week pushing coastal clouds well inland for lows overnight down into the low 50’s, breaking up into partly cloudy days with highs steady in the mid-70’s 10 days out. Looks like I’ll be able to leave the HVAC system powered off for a couple more weeks.
Got a dashboard light show Wednesday morning that sent me limping over to the dealership, and it’s not good news, but it’s a slate of work that’s to be expected given the mileage. So, it’s gonna be like buying a used car just to keep mine. Still, the least expensive car to buy is the one I already have.
Eked out a 5 today.

I come from a long line of knights and warriors, and even spent 30 years as a military wife, mother and grandma, so holidays like Monday have special meaning for me. I always honor the dead by wearing red, white and blue the entire weekend.
I managed to get it in four, but I still haven’t mastered the art of transferring the completed puzzle to the forum. Maybe next time I’ll be able to figure it out!

I was up again last night. (So what’s new?) I woke up again at 0530 and thought “I’ll just lie here for a sec,” and the alarm rang 30 minutes later.
The nerves in my left hand are such that when I wash my hair, it feels like rough sisal rope in that hand and wet hair in the other. Really weird!
FS is supposed to come over and watch a movie with me today, but I suppose he’ll work on his latest project, then go to Walmart before he comes over. We’ll see. One thing is for sure — I won’t ride with Pam tomorrow if I don’t have to!!

I might have had it in two had I been brave enough to step up and toss it out. But I put in an “elimination” row, just in case!
The damage has migrated to my right hand...the middle and ring fingers. This isn’t good.
If they can’t get me in for steroid injections, then they need to give me a “Med-Rol Pack.” Something needs to be done and soon.
It was a good job, either way!

what is a Med-Rol Pack? Never heard of it...
It’s a series of steroid tablets. You start out taking nine the first day, and then one tablet less each day after that. Usually, it’s enough to help with the initial problem, but sometimes needs to be repeated.
Wednesday seems like forever away.

Oh, I remember those now... I used to get them prescribed for some sort of condition... I can’t remember what it was for, but I do remember popping out the little tablets from those descending rows...

The climate here has been disastrous for me, and I can’t get away fast enough.
It’s usually prescribed for acute inflammation and in my case, it’s been for the ever-present arthritis. I’ve had them prescribed several times, but not in recent history.
