Sorry about the rain. It’s not supposed to rain when you’re on vacation at the beach!!
We did a few things. I wrote you a letter. I’ll take it to the post office in the morning.

Mona came over all upset. She had to let her little pup go back to the breeder. That girl has some problems, but maybe one day, she’ll be able to overcome them. I hope so. In her, I see me when I was 15 or 16 (maybe younger) but she’s in her 50’s, so....
Anyway, I listened to her and she asked how I handled certain things she was stressed about. I told her. Then I suggested writing in a journal. She’ll probably be over tomorrow, so I think I’ll give her an assignment.
Who knows? It may be therapeutic and provide an outlet for her emotions. We’ll see....

Mona has never had pets, so this is the second one that she’s gotten and had to let go to someone else. She evidently thinks a pet will fill the gap left by her kids, who are not kind to her.
Worse than mine because they dis her in public, on Facebook. She’ll probably be over again today, and I’ll have to tell her she ought to give Facebook a break, if for no other reason than for not subjecting herself to the BS her kids put out for all the world to see.

Good morning. Yesterday, I saw a yellacat lounging in a carport, ignoring a fight between gulls and starlings. Smart cat.
Social media can cause people a lot of distress. Has she considered volunteering?
She buys into everything anyone suggests to her: nervousness, high-strung, failure, rotten mother, no good, etc., etc., etc.
She’s repeated it all to herself so many times that she has come to believe it. She has asked me how I got “to be so strong.” It most certainly wasn’t by buying into everything someone told me.
If she can learn the art of journaling, she might get some insight into what’s going on within her own mind.
Good morning! So many posts and I hadn’t said “good morning,” yet. My bad.
I’ve been waking up in a lot of pain in the mornings, so I’m out of bed before the alarm rings. I need to see about getting the morphine today. Maybe Pam will pick it up for me.
I’m showing signs of a mini-relapse, but it’s not unexpected, after Sunday and Monday.
Poor cat. No blue sky yet, but the patches of lighter gray are growing more frequent.
I hope you get some pain relief soon!
Thanks! The pain is weather-related. I had so few days like this in Henderson, a few more in Hurricane, but nothing like now.
But it can’t last, so I’ll try not to complain. Some days are just too hard to even start!! Imma be a slug today!

I went out on the beach, and it started raining again. A few guys fishing, one surfer.
