Rumors that I had a heart attack are completely false. I am alive and healthy.

Good morning. Happy Friday Eve!

We had frost this morning as the temps dipped back below 32fs. It’s not supposed to last.

We have rain foreguessed for Saturday. F-I-L would like me to help him trim his hedge on Saturday. We’ll see which way that goes.

Another fiver for Wordle. At least RockPaperShotgun was back.

Wordle 698 5/6

Of course. The land is cooler than the sea in the mornings so the wind comes in from the ocean. Once the land warms up during the day that shifts and the wind goes back out to sea in the evenings.

Which makes me wonder, if it’s wind in the morning, is it unwind in the evening?

Sorry about your weather.

Ours is always strange, so I can’t comment on what’s good or not where you are.

How’s the Princess Doggette doing?

Good job on your Wordle! It wasn’t X/6!

The Princess is doing OK. She is actually looking a little dirty as she prepares to be clipped on Friday. That means we haven’t had a seizure since her last clipping because we bathe her after a seizure. So something’s going right.

We even had poisons spread on the grass here on Monday (poisons to us, fertilizer and bug control substances to the rest of the world) with no negative reaction.

I believe she has a visit to an internal medicine specialist to discuss whether we should be worrying about her liver values on the 30th. So we’re just waiting for what happens next.

Good Morning!

Today was one of those odd Wordle days where the first word that popped into my head after seeing the row one result, happened to be the correct word...

Wordle 698 2/6

(In the golf analog, this Eagle on the 2nd hole puts me at two under for the round... ⛳️)

Was wondering why my cricket bat had little to no effect...

Some people also theorize that this is how "pocket dimensions" are created when gravity doesn't just bend space/time... but actually knots it... Like connecting both ends of an Einstein-Rosen bridge to each other. It'd become a closed loop of space/time.

Last time we did this... I think we stuck General Zod in it...

*sigh of relief*

I’m so glad things are better (fingers crossed) for the Princess Pup.

Please, keep us informed on her liver values. ;o]

When you get a chance, give her a pat or two for me. 😁

Good job!!

I do that every once in a while. Today, though, with my first two words, I had a final choice of two and one had already been used. So in the not-golf jargon, it was a no-brainer!

THEM!!!

(Anything but ants, DC!! LOL!)

It looks like one of those optical illusions that didn’t quite make it to the Finals.

So now I know what happened to General Zod!

Aww... Thanks Face!

Work beast keeps punting me though. “With great power comes a really effed up work/life balance...”

It’s rough being an IT demi-God... All the responsibility, but without any of the fawning Priestesses I was promised...

I think Bacchus got the last good batch. :-(

Uncle Ben had nothing on C.S. Lewis.

Exactly... And idiot me, I'm going for a couple of certs right now that will allow me to move up into yet another position... but one that is almost entirely REMOTE. I could do my job anywhere I'm connected to the Internet.

Which also means they could bother me at all hours and I'd have little excuse to tell 'em to piss up a rope. Even from the catamaran parked off the coast of St. Vincent...

I am the smartest dumb guy I know.
