I got invited to have a Chinese dinner, but it would have been too late for me, having to get up at 0400 to warm the bathroom so I can shower and be ready for an 0815 or 0830 pickup, depending on the meetings she has. Maybe a week night would be better, but I didn’t think of that until much later. I’ll tell her when she comes to pick me up. I love Chinese, but the Other Folks can’t eat it because PW is allergic to MSG.

The neighbor’s daughter came to spend the morning and part of the afternoon with her, and she said, “I hear you’re moving.” I put my finger to my lips.

Kay, it seems, is absolutely livid that I’m leaving so she’s not talking to me. Don’t know what I can do about that.

You can’t do anything about it. People who are upset you’re leaving should have done more to make living there tolerable.

Good morning. I hope you had a good night with no interruptions.

I don’t know how well church will go today. I don’t want to miss any because it’s an hour that I get to be with FS. And there are only a few of those left. Still, I’m in seven kinds of agony, today. Some days, my back feels almost normal for about 15 minutes and then the pain hits again.

Wednesday is the pain clinic so maybe I can get the things I need. My last appointment here.

Only four weeks to go, iirc. It will pass both slowly and quickly!

August 2 is the departure date. August 5th is the move-in date. I had to time it so that we could unload on Saturday, when the most men/youth from church are available to do the unloading.

I’m not getting excited because I’m not seeing any boxes being packed! I’ll get there.

I hope you made it to church without too much discomfort. We had a storm during the Spanish Mass. People who got there late got rained on. The Nicaraguan priest didn’t talk quite as long as usual.

The ride home was strained and mostly silent. I don’t know why.
