Rumors that I had a heart attack are completely false. I am alive and healthy.

Eyes of shock or eyes on the prize ?
Ready for Caturday!
Good morning. I hope you had a good night.
I just killed another brown recluse in the bedroom this morning. I killed one in there before I was bitten, as well. I keep spraying with stuff, because I think the Terminix man diluted the diatomaceous earth or turned it into concrete, so it’s not killing them any more.
Unngh!!
I’m going to try and pack a little bit today. I may be only one box, but that’s still progress! I think I need to bend and stoop a little more, no matter how much it hurts!
Good Saturday Morning!
Wow, a 2-spot, amazing, ‘Face!
Took me a bit longer... glad it wasn’t too much longer...

Good morning.
It was one of those words that just jumped right out at me, so I tried it, not knowing for sure if that was the right word because I had so little to go on.
Good job on the Quad!!
Yay!! A card in today’s mail!!
Oh, good!
I’ve only got three or four hours for it to show up in my mail box!
I sat here for a while, listening to an uplifting talk, waiting to see if Kathleen’s footlocker got placed where it will be included, but my back is hurting a bit.
I walked around the building this morning to see what the Lawn Guys did. Dead wires are still littering up the yarn and two poles are lying in the small ditch.
The tree that had fallen and caused all the damage has been cut up into 5’ lengths and placed on the owner’s front yard. The part of it that fell onto the property here has been cut up and piled.
The Lawn Guys did a very nice job of cleaning up all the pine cones and sycamore branches and then mowed and trimmed and blew all the smaller debris away. But they very neatly brushed all that smaller debris into the pile where the tree top lay, complete with a nice, neat border.
What were they thinking???
*tagline*
Maybe it’s going to be used as mulch.
Kathleen’s locker has been delivered. All the Girl Boy Scouts seem excited about camp, but especially the ones who haven’t been before. There’s a big lake and a lot of fun stuff to do in addition to their merit badge classes.
I picked more zucchini, green beans, and eggplant. For my next thing, I’ll google recipes for the eggplant.
Yes, camping for the first time is really fun! I hope they get loaded up on S’mores!
I don’t know what the Lawn Guys plan to do with the dead limbs, but it’s a real eyesore. But then, so is the guy’s yard. Made me wonder if the city was going to charge him for cutting it up. They sure had a lot of equipment to move all those heavy pieces of trunk around.
Maybe some places had it worse, so I won’t complain too loudly.
Well luck was with you today, as it was exactly what you needed!
👍
I cooked some eggplant and zucchini and then napped. Next, I’m going to the used book store to see what they’ll pay for the books Vlad and I dropped off yesterday. I asked DP to go by there, since he was in that area earlier, but he said they won’t transact with him, only with me.
It turns out the reason they’re so nitpicky is not that they’re jerks, but that they’re regulated as a pawnshop!
A used book pawnshop? Who knew? LOL!
I’ve actually been somewhat pain-free today, oddly enough. Maybe the Teddy Grahams are helping!
Law can be really goofy. Vlad and I can take in some more books next week. They’ll only review one bin - about the size of a copy-paper box - at a time.
I’m glad you’ve had a day with less pain. Keep up the Teddy Grahams!
Well, allowing someone else to read books you found interesting but no longer need is a win-win deal, regardless of the laws. I find that knowing the reasons why things are a particular way helps to ease the deal.
I did a few simple exercises this morning, painful as they were, and when I felt the stiffness and pain coming back, I did them again. It’s still difficult to stand for any length of time, but I’ll just have to try and spread things out instead of trying to get them done all at once.
And the Teddy Grahams were a great help! I mean, who can complain when something so simple and cute can bring you a memory?
(Grandson Connor, shopping with G-Ma when he wasn’t even two years old. Going down the cookies/crackers aisle, a sweet little voice reminded me: Gramma...don’t forget the Teddy Grahams!) Even then, he knew exactly what the box looked like!! His mother was very thoughtful to include them in her order for “D” batteries and unavailable ice!
Aw, that’s very nice. Be very careful with exercise!
Yes, ma’am! Simple exercises that aren’t too strenuous in any direction.
Good Sunday morning, Wordlers!
Today’s puzzle was a real head-banger.
