Good morning. I hope you had a good night and that there was no cat spew to clean up.
The bite is healing somewhat nicely, though I don’t know what they’re supposed to look like when they are healing. I just know it doesn’t seem to be getting any worse.
I’ll still keep it covered today in case I get the urge to do more packing than I had planned. I don’t want to break open the sores and get dirt in them. That would be disastrous.
There really isn’t much to pack. The packing paper came yesterday afternoon, so I can finish in the kitchen. I’m still undecided about the cookware. In the last 15 years, I think I’ve only used the Dutch oven, usually just using one of the two cast iron frying pans and a small pan.
I can’t see taking it when most of the meals I cook are in the Crock Pot. I still have a couple of weeks to think but I’m inclined not to bother taking it. I felt the same way about the dishes and I suspect I’ll end up giving them to my FD before all is said and done.
Good morning. No spew has been observed so far. Jake came to tell me to get up about 5:30, and I said I wasn’t getting up, so he sat on my pillow until 6:30. He had plenty of food.
It’s not raining right now. Kathleen is up. James and Vlad aren’t. Frank spent the night with his friend, and they’ll bring him home midday-ish.
Maybe I’ll clean the stove.
I’m glad your bite is getting better or at least not worse!
I need to try and put my shoes on.
Jake was just jealous that you were sleeping and he wasn’t.
We have been having sunny mornings and cloudy/hazy afternoons, and it’s supposed to be in the high 90’s for the next three days. I don’t want to speculate on the humidity.
Thanks about the bite. I think the tea tree oil is helping a lot with that.
I want to build a box but I need to wait to see if FS will get over here.

Kathleen and I went shopping. Frank has been returned. James got up and took himself off to buy some lunch. Vlad may be dead.
FS and PW are going to Walmart. She hurt her back, so it’s worse than mine of course and takes priority over my fall.
Anyway, I need to go make the bed in a bit. Just because it’s a different position.
FS accused me of working without a net again. Right. Funny boy.
This chair is really not very comfortable!
Did you go to the thrift store? I can hardly wait to get back so I can go to the thrift store!

James has earned lunch so good for him. Vlad is always dead.
We went to Academy Sports to get a footlocker for her to take to Scout camp. Then we went to Walmart and got a few other items and some groceries.
Now, I think it’s naptime.
I’m sorry about her back. Gravity is hard on us all!

The bros didn’t need them, except for Tom, who was on staff all summer. There’s probably more theft now than there used to be.
And that’s really sad. People just don’t seem to respect boundaries or other people’s belongings. Selfishness reigns.
I’ll kill for a nice long hot soak in a bathtub, if I had one. I think it would do wonders for my back.
There are two or three tiny bruises along my spine. I can’t see them well, but they look like bluish holes where my spine hit the shower pan. I’m very glad I have a heated mattress pad!
Keeping her things in the box will, hopefully, be tidier than having them in a bag. Usually the first thing she does is dump everything out!
We need to go through her clothes and see if she has enough items to get through a week.
It sounds like she’s excited, which is good news in itself.

Jake was at the front window when I came down at 7:00. He told me he’d been out all night, but there’s a note from James by my keyboard saying he went out at 6:40, when James left for work.

I had to get up a time or two, but when I do, I sound every bit of my age because of the pain. I’m hoping the little walking I do today will help to ease some of the stiffness, and thereby, lessen the pain.
There is no change in the bite, for better or worse. PW is the authority on this so I just need to sit down and shut up, right? Wrong.
I need to go try to put my face on, but it may be done in relays....
Jake is macho and has to brag about his doings, even if there weren’t any.
