Sorry about your son.
I had a childhood friend (since we were 5) who died of a
drug overdose at age 44. He died of fentanyl poisoning -
but he was a lifelong pot smoker.

He started smoking it when he was 14 years old.
There is no doubt in my mind that cannabis use can, and does, cause
mental illnesses. Many of these lead to deaths - tragically.
