That’s pretty bad. He purchased a vehicle solely because of its looks and has no idea as to it’s motor. I suspect he also has no clue as to the different causes which could be the reason it is not running right. A simple clogged fuel or air filter (or both) is more likely the cause.
I’m out in my Garage almost every night working on cars. I’m pretty sure I could diagnose.fix whatever is wrong with it in a few minutes. The Cars I have now are all computerized/fuel injected, but I worked with Carbed cars for 40 years.
I offered to look at it and He asked me “who do I take my cars to?”
I told him I don’t have a guy, I have me. I was no help, so he gave up on me.
This is the level of self sufficiency of the Cali’s moving here.
