Probably didn’t help Trump’s defense that the prosecution played the tape of Trump joking about groping women AND THEN played a different tape where Trump was practically invited to retract those statements and instead said something like “well, that’s what stars do!”
Boasting that he’d molested women and separately dismissing it as something famous men can do, might’ve been all it took for the jury to conclude that insufficient evidence of rape doesn’t invalidate an unrepentant confession of molestation.
Men have joked forever. Men have groped forever. Stay away from those ya dont like. 1grope deserves a kick. If you stay around and get picked on, ya should have known better.

I cannot imagine that his lawyers were so incompetent as to not encourage him NOT to provide embellishment or any other details in his answer during the deposition, Why, oh why did he have to give his “analysis” of a million years of sexual harassment?
