Since he was found liable in this case, then it’s absolutely essential that he wins in court. If only 1-2% of the voting public allows this to affect their vote that could seal Trump’s defeat in the general election, all I care about is winning and getting this case thrown out is essential.

Diehard Trump fans can say all they want how unfair all this is, it truly is off the charts wrong and unfair, but the jury verdict will stick unless he can get an appeals court to reverse the decision.

Remember OJ Simpson was found not guilty in the criminal case but liable in the civil case,

How the public views the verdict is the only thing that matters.

Clearly it will cause those who hate Trump will to pump their fists while the rest of the public files it along with several dozen and 6 years of media hyperventilating, unsubstantiated charges and failed prosecutions.

You’re talking politics and elections again. I’m not interested in how this affects his election chances, that’s a DIFFERENT MATTER. I’m only interested in THIS PARTICULAR CASE.

I WANT TO KNOW WHETHER HE INDEED DO WHAT SHE ACCUSED HIM OF DOING! In other words, is he REALLY GUILTY of what the jury decided he did?
Winning in court does not necessarily mean that the decision conforms to the truth. Just as OJ’s victory in his criminal trial did little to prove his innocence.

If this jury decided so, on what basis? What evidence? I have not seen anyone in this thread answer my question yet.

Edit to add, my particular concern regarding the jury verdict in this specific case is more far reaching than how it will affect Trump’s chances in the elections. Whether he wins or loses the election is immaterial to this case.

It concerns the question of our justice system. In other words, can women just accuse men of rape or battery that they never filed charges on 30 years ago without solid evidence?

This isn’t just about Trump. If a woman from your past or mine made the same accusations against you, what kind of defense do you have other than the evidence?

That is why I doggedly insists on knowing what evidence led the jury to come up with their verdict.
