Kyrylo is an operator of Javelin anti-tank system, hunting for Russian tanks and other enemy vehicles. Warrior was at front before beginning of full-scale invasion. He said he was one of those who understood inevitability of war. So soldier prepared for defence together with his unit.
According to Censor.NET, Kyrylo is currently an operator of the Javelin anti-tank system in the Russian-Ukrainian war. The Ukrainian soldier spoke about his combat work in an exclusive interview with Butusov Plus.
Kyrylo told us about his personal account of the Russian equipment he had destroyed. In particular, about the destruction of an enemy MT-LB with ammunition and a tank.
“I recognised it was a tank and fired it. We didn’t even realise that we had thwarted the assault and stopped the entire offensive. We destroyed their BC - the occupiers had nothing to fight with,” Kyrylo said.
Now the soldier understands who is shooting from where and what calibre. The Ukrainian fighter recalled that the hardest time for their unit was in Donetsk region.
“It was probably the hardest in Novomykhailivka, because their artillery is very massive. And there was a lot of activity, so it was hardest there. We couldn’t hit their tanks because we didn’t have the Javelin anti-tank system at the time,” said Kyrylo.
