The Allen Premium Outlets in Texas have a gun-free zone policy.
So, we can stop blaming Texas gun laws for the mass shooting tragedy today.
We can instead blame the murderer and ask the better question: If there were armed Texans there, would he have been killed sooner?

If there had been good guys with guns, the victims would still be alive.
The mall should be sued for having policies that endanger the lives of their patrons.
Sue the outlet and destroy it and its owners.

If I’ve told my wife once, I’ve told her a hundred times. These outlet malls don’t actually offer discount prices.
Some just don’t take this realization as well as others.
I usually just ignore those kinds BS signs and go about my business.
IF I were told to leave because they somehow found out I was conceal carrying, I would just quietly and politely leave asap to avoid a trespassing charge..
You are correct … I worked at Nike and they had lower quality at the outlet malls.
In these situations the attacker always has the advantage. Sadly, they can unleash carnage before people have a chance to respond.
Now, would knowing there were people there possibly armed have deterred him from acting....?? Possibly.
I prefer the I want to Penochet one.
The problem is that Allen is a middle class or better community in the northern Dallas suburbs. It is likely many of the shoppers own guns, even concealable ones, but at home or maybe in their car. They are under the impression that they are safe because they live in an affluent area, more so than people may have in South Dallas or an exurban or rural area.
Yep, that’s how I do it too. If your weapon is properly concealed, the management will never know you’re armed, and you can’t be charged with trespassing if you leave promptly when requested.
None of them looked Dutch.
The mall needs to be sued into bankruptcy. If they demand patrons the right of adequate self defense then the company has the obligation and the liability.
I was wondering about that yesterday, but I didn’t see this page. Good find!
Ahh, the good old days when “outlet stores” were truly cheaper. In high school (late ‘60s), there was an alpaca sweater outlet store near my house. Mostly seconds, but man the deals...$10-15 for v-necks. Still have one or two around. Then there was the hugely popular Creighton Shirt Outlet in Reidsville, NC..1½ hours drive....early ‘70s. Seconds again...but they were making these shirts in the building NEXT DOOR! Cheap...I’d buy 8-10 a trip.
Back in the early 70s i had the Stetson national warehouse store near St Joe, MO. Some great buys on their top stuff.
Unlikely. The videos are out. He got right out of his car and started shooting people walking who had no idea he even stopped his car.
He was stopped by a cop who was on the scene who undoubtedly did prevent many more murders by shooting him right in the face.
Don’t say that too loud the truth hurts screws up their agenda
